The True Backrooms Roblox is a free psychological thriller game where you’re in a building with labyrinthian rooms where you need to find the exit. Each level becomes progressively more challenging, while scary sounds and events become more terrifying. Other games that also mess with your head are Floppy’s Playtime, The Truth Untold, and The Mirror.
You’ll encounter other players that look exactly like you while searching for the way out. Instead of sticking together, everyone is determined to find the exit alone. There are few strategies that will work in these mazes, and some of the rooms require you to think outside of the box….literally.
Locked in a building
Spawning in The True Backrooms Roblox will make you wonder what’s happening at first. With no clear objectives, you’ll notice writings on the wall that tell you to find the exit. You’ll soon discover that you’re in a maze of walls and openings, searching for exits that take you to new puzzles and areas. It’s an escape room that takes you to another escape room.
Darker and scarier
As you progress to other rooms in The True Backrooms Roblox, there won’t be as much light. You have a flashlight, but that doesn’t really help later in the game. You’ll forever be checking around corners or through windows wondering if something will reach for you. Every level becomes more challenging and terrifying.

If you don’t like spooky sounds, don’t play The True Backrooms Roblox. You’ll also hear groans, laughter, babies, and crying from distant areas or around the corner. There aren’t any real jump scares, but you’ll be waiting in anticipation of them.
Find the exit
The True Backrooms Roblox is an intense game that will test your will to continue through the mazes to find the exits. Some of the final doors are hidden behind glass, so you’ll need to figure out how to get to them.
